Who we are

Biovission (Pty) Ltd (registration 2012/218349/07) is the responsible party for personal information collected through www.biovission.co.za. Contact our Information Officer at biovission@gmail.com or 073 024 7007.

What we collect

When you submit the quote form we receive the details you choose to provide: name, company, email address, telephone number, project location and province, the requirement you describe, reference numbers and any files you attach. Our server also processes your IP address for security and anti-spam purposes.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations.
To assess and deliver the supply or service requirement you describe.
To protect the website from abuse (rate-limiting and spam filtering).

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

How it is processed and stored

Form submissions are sent by our web server as email to Biovission's enquiry mailbox, and a confirmation copy is sent to the address you provide. Submissions are not stored in a website database. For anti-abuse purposes the server keeps a short-lived record of a one-way hashed IP address and submission times, deleted automatically after 24 hours.

Third parties

Our web hosting and email providers process data on our behalf to deliver the website and email. This site does not load third-party fonts, trackers or advertising scripts. If we add analytics, this notice will be updated first.

Cookies and local storage

The quote form uses a strictly necessary session cookie to protect against forged submissions. The parts-catalogue "quote list" is stored only in your own browser and can be cleared at any time.

Retention

Enquiry emails are retained for as long as needed to respond, manage resulting business and meet legal record-keeping obligations, then deleted.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to its processing. Email biovission@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
